Back in Chronicle 1 everything was very hard to get, and people took a long time to even get B grade parts.

Elmore is a slightly slow rate server, but some of players today are very experienced and know how to lvl up effectively. Some players are already lvling in end-game areas and some even got B grade.

Since the server will progress to Chronicle 2 eventually, there's no point of holding those players back and not implement sets with bonuses.

just remember that we don't want to run a server dressed on a russian aggressive farmer that can outrace every "normal" player. Speaking words: if on one side we have igor that is bored because he already got everything, on the other one there are tens of players who are actually full enjoying the pace of a C1 nostalgia theme. Endgame C1 is easily playable with a good C grade gear and some levels. I would focus more on bringing more players and have some good sieges times (that is the true L2 core, in my opnion), than rushing b-grade implements for the sake of 2 players

There is no point to add the feature from C2 that C1 players don't need. Breaking the C1 Mechanism base on that idea is worthy ? You're running the server with the nearly Basic Chronicle so where is the C1 spirit ?

Carefull changes being made and yall scared already that "OMG GM RUIN THE SERVER GIVE ME BACK MY NOSTALGIA".

If a full 100% no intervention Chronicle 1 was implemented, the number of people quitting because the server is trash would be way higher then the 1 or 2 guys in here crying for "please live my Chronicle 1 alone"

I dont really see a blow on server philosophy by making these small changes that were ment to be implemented anyway (C1 to C2 progression).

I'm just glad we can experience C1 on a stable server and almost bug-free.

The fact that the Bug Report section is almost dead is a relief on it's own.

Oh really ? We're crying ? LoL
Then why should we create more works on C1 for MasterToma instead of beeing happy and enjoy what he did till now ? Why don't we wait for C2 appearance ?

seriously, it wasnt a crying, it was just a constructive suggestion. I'm just out now, since seems it's pointless to discuss with such attitude
 
Hello .. i am nostalgic and i want to play C2 but i seen that u progress from c1 to c3 .. so u will leave server at C3 or ?

Is server official open?

I miss the time at DoomC2 and KatsuC3 so i hope u will answer soon..


What is the idea at all? To open 3 servers c1 c2 c3 or just to leave it on c3?
 
C1 live started 7 of march, 8 of may we migrated to C2, c3 will be in october. C4 will be in summer 2021. No wipes, we upgrade chronicles, like NCSoft did it.
 
After 3-4 months of playing, you will consume all content of this chronicle. Same was with C1 - a lot of ppl wanted to stay on C1, but after 3 months all were waiting for C2. Now all are waiting for C3, slowly, but still. Even those, who wrote that C2 are the best chronicles :) This is progressive server.

But for C4, if there will be enough votes (and online ofc) - maybe I will do second server, and clone database. So old fans will remain on C3 for ever, and all other will do the progress

Back in times i spend like 3 month to get level 50 as mage.
Right now i got 50 in 4 days, playing melee class with box. Even with x3 rates, still much faster.
So this is totaly right.
 
I really like the progression idea and to see that it is planned to go as far as C4 (even if that would result in cloning the server... wouldn't that split the not so big community?).

But anyway my main question is .... once at C4 what prevents further upgrades to Interlude lets say? Since most if not all Interlude servers are anyways based on a C4 client + modifications to address the changes.

I suppose it all depends on the community's request/preferences /vote system?
 
Hi, this is unique project. It's not developed as "extenders" (quoting your "all Interlude servers are anyways based on a C4").

Server will go as far, as community would like. I believe, IL also might be here in ~3 years.
