Server Progression

For those who don't know, Elmore Lab went through a lot of changes in the past few weeks. That included a host change, website and boards migration.
Because we are doing very fast changes with a limited staff, some infos regarding the server can feel 'loose' because we are using most of the time to fix the final bugs. It's fair to say we owe you guys a clear plan for Elmore's future.

With that out of the way, here's our plan of Server Progression for ElmoreLab.

Important side not: Elmore Lab is meant to mimic a classic/nostalgic feeling of what the good times of Lineage were. This game is not easy and it's progression was slow and linear. This is how it was planed to be, this is how it will be.

its interesting progression. And c1 content goes very fast, after 56 lvl and b grade its nothing to do at all.

honestly i had the biggest time of my life playing C4, but even C1 was good (it was one of my first mmorpg experience, so i am very nostalgic about that). Interlude i honestly didnt play that much, but i think it was fine aswel. But yea, after interlude, almost everything went do shiet

BTW, when i played C1, i was playing end-game without many problems at 70+. There were many characters b-grade geared and it seemed still pretty balanced. How come you say C1 is until C-Grade maximum? That is how it was meant to be? Was i playing on a modded server that allowed B-grade in C1?

For me the nostalgia is seeing the game evolve with the updates, racing to get top gear before the next update and then being prepared for the next set of top gear that is newly obtainable.

The last time I played C1 was retail and no one knew what was needed to get the next set of gear and the added excitement this time is that we actually know what we are doing so if you are ready and organised you could potentially have all the materials ready just to go grab the recipes and parts.

And as eager as I am to see the C2 client come into play with the extra features I'm also wondering if that is too soon for server politics and clans to have their own identity on the server. (Though it is probably plenty of time I'm just a part-time gamer now so levelling is going slow for me xD)

I never said C1 was limited to C-grade.

Yea, didn't mean that, my bad. I just meant that i read somewhere around here (or precedent forum), that there wouldnt be any b-grade until C2. Maybe i missread that

I agree with your Interlude statement but I have to say that CT 1.5 (Hellbound chronicle) is very good too. In my opinion, after this chronicle, all goes to shit (gracia etc).

In Hellbound chronicle max element is 150, spellbooks 81-83 are only from epic boss (not in olympiad manager) this makes that having a skill of lvl 81 or 83 like an epic stuff and S80 grade is veeeery hard to achieve. So is like an Interlude with some good stuff added.

Why you think that it was better than C4? What are the main differences?

Are you able to let us know something more about "Special auto-soulshot feature"?
As is it described in "Server progression" / Road map - it will be implemented in April.
The name suggest that only soulshots will be automatic? Am I wrong? Does the spiritshot will be included too?

Elmore is a slightly slow rate server, but some of players today are very experienced and know how to lvl up effectively. Some players are already lvling in end-game areas and some even got B grade.

Since the server will progress to Chronicle 2 eventually, there's no point of holding those players back and not implement sets with bonuses.
