Hello,

Our next big step is to properly deliver Special Abilities for weapons.

Weapon SAs are a very big feature and their coding is a very, very, VERY, hard thing to develop as a 100% retail OFF.

Let me put this in a way that everybody can understand:

Other servers can emulate this feature, but they do not work as intended on retail. This will be another exclusive Elmore Lab addition (hell yes).

Aside from that, Weapon SA implies on adding:
New mobs
New locations
New drop tables
New items
New Quest
Multi-sell list (like adding blacksmith to exchange weapons etc etc)
A lot of changes in game engine and a lot of little modifications.

For this reason the Weapon SA will be delivered in different stages.

July Week 1 - STAGE 1

Players will be able to acquire the Enhance Your Weapon quest
Players will be able to acquire the Soul Crystal item
Players will be able to start lvling the Soul Crystal item but only in the monsters of Devastated Castle
Players that can successfully level Soul Crystal will be able to apply the Special Ability, but the Special Ability will not have any effects yet.

According to L2industry, there are some more SA that were released in C2:

Mana Up - Increases maximum MP by a certain percent.

Light - Reduces a weapon's weight.

Quick Recovery - Reduces re-use delay.

Cheap Shot - When launching a general attack, MP consumption is reduced.

Longblow - Increases attack range.

Wideblow - Broadens angle of attack.

Magic Mental Shield - Chance to cast Mental Shield magic upon the target when using good magic.

Magic Focus - Chance to cast Focus magic upon the target when using good magic.

Magic Bless the Body - Chance to cast Bless the Body magic upon the target when using good magic.

Magic Hold - Chance to cast Dryad Root magic upon the target when using bad magic.

Magic Poison - Chance to cast Poison magic upon the target when using bad magic.

Magic Weakness - Chance to cast Weakness magic upon the target when using bad magic.

Magic Chaos - Chance to cast Chaos magic upon the target when using bad magic.

Since we can't see those in the list (either in the working soulcrystals ones or the not working souclrystals ones), i would like to ask if they are planed to be ever implemented or not, or what.

Soul Crystals now could be leveled on all mobs. You can check list of mobs from the quest-related NPC.
